This dataset is the NOAA meteorological satellite AVHRR 1B data obtained by the ground satellite receiving system of Zhongshan Station during China's 16th Antarctic Expedition from 1999 to 2000. The NOAA satellite is the third generation practical meteorological observation satellite of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the United States. The first generation was called the Tiros series (1960-1965), the second generation was called the ITOS/NOAA series (1970-1976), and the subsequent third generation was called the TIROS-N/NOAA series. Its orbit is a sun synchronous orbit close to a circle, with orbital heights of 870 kilometers and 833 kilometers, orbital inclinations of 98.9 ° and 98.7 °, and a period of 101.4 minutes. The application purpose of NOAA is for daily meteorological operations, with two satellites operating normally. Direct observation
The detection method is the same as that of domestic BREWER stations, and is carried out in accordance with the "BREWER Instrument Observation Specification" of the China Meteorological Administration's Atmospheric Special Monitoring Network. The solar ultraviolet radiation bands detected by BREWER at noon are 290-325nm, 295-300nm, 300-305nm, 305-310nm, 310-315nm, 315-320nm, 320-325nm, and 300.5nm, 324nm
